Night Owl
Just realized how long it's been since I wrote on my Blog. If there is one thing I'm doing in the coming year it's making more entries. I'm such a night owl...it's 1am in the morning and I'm just starting to get sleepy.
Since I last wrote I got a 6 week contract working for MAC Cosmetics. I only have 2 more weeks left in my contract but I'm waiting to hear if I can extend it to August. It would only be for 10hrs a week but right now I think that would be great. I'm really enjoying working at this location. All of the girls are so much fun. It's hard to believe that all of us get along so well!
I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately on this past year. I can't believe that come the end of January I will have been living back in B.C. for a whole year! Wow. It's amazing to me how fast time flies! Every year seems to go faster. I still miss Toronto and all of my friends back there so very much. It's unfair to compare the 2 cities but I find myself doing it a lot. They both have so many fantastic things about them. I'm slowly building up a really great group of friends here in Vancouver. Ones who I trust and feel close to without really knowing. It's been fun getting to know them and creating new memories.
Perhaps the best part of being back in Vancouver is being able to see my family whenever I want! Only a ferry ride away instead of a long and expensive flight. Just spent a couple days over in Victoria for Christmas. It was so great to see everyone even though it was a bit rushed. My mom is coming over for New Year's eve and for the first time ever I'm spending it with my family. Really looking forward to that.
So what will the New Year bring? I know what I would like to see...what about you? There are so many things and people to be thankful for. I'm going to focus on that and building my career. I feel that this coming year is going to be pretty amazing...why shouldn't it be. After all we are in control of what happens. Put it out there and it will come to you. I really believe that. Dream big and follow it with love and action. Prayers help too! May God bless you in this coming year and keep you safe, happy and healthy!!
Until next time...
