Wishcup Soccer Tournament in Vancouver
On Saturday July 7th and Sunday July 8th there is a really cool fundraising event going on called The Wishcup Soccer Tournament @ David Lam Park (Yaletown). I'll be a volunteer in the Beer Garden on Sunday July 8th so come by and say hello! Check out their website for more info www.wishcup.ca
The Wish Cup Soccer Festival is organized by the Wish Cup Sports Society, a non-profit Canadian social enterprise managed by volunteers and supported by community partners.
The Wish Cup was founded in 2003, on the belief that sport has the power to create healthier communities. The Wish Cup uses sport as a vehicle to support the health and development of youth and children, causes that strengthen diversity, and multiculturalism. This is achieved through organizing sport events that create awareness and raise funds for causes that are in line with our mission and values.
