St. Paddy's Day

So I went over to Victoria this past weekend. My cousin Ryan, is friends with a band called The Town Pants. They are an Irish Band and have been on tour for the last month or so. They played at Legends Saturday night and Ryan played a few songs with them. I was there with my cousin Ryan & his wife Rebecca (1st picture), my other cousin Shawn, his wife Serena, my friends Ian, Taryn, Karl, Keely, and Danny. Had an awesome night dancin' and drinkin'. What else is there to do on St. Paddy's Day?

It was a quick visit this time but it was nice to hang out with family and friends. Came back to Vancouver Sunday night. One more week till I'm back in Toronto. Planning to stay there for a week. My friends Shelly and Kara are planning an official Goodbye party for me on Sunday April 1st. Can't wait to see everyone.

Until next time...

Hitler's Canadians on The History Channel March 11 at 8pm!

Okay so it's a little late BUT Hitler's Canadian's was on The History Channel tonight at 8pm! How cool was that?! It was so neat to see how everything came together. So happy with my makeup! The whole team was just so awesome to work with and they did a great job in the editing room too!

Go to www.hitlerscanadians.com for more details and production stills. I'm in one picture and you can see Jim sportin' some sweet blood and dirt in one too! So cool!

6 weeks in Vancouver

Wow...can't believe it's been 6 weeks in Vancouver already! Where did the time go? CRAZY!

2 nights ago I went out to BAR NONE in Yaletown and my wallet was stolen right out of my purse. It only took a second and I didn't realize it until the next day. I wasn't even drinking! Funny how everyone says what a crazy city Toronto is but in the whole 4 years of living there not one thing of mine was EVER stolen. Bitter? No...not really. No seriously. It could have been worse! They could have taken my Blackberry with ALL of my phone numbers etc. Now that I'm living in B.C. I had to replace a few cards anyway so it's all good. Oh well, what can ya do? Be more aware next time I guess.

At the start of the night I met my cousin Alexz at The Sandbar in Granville Island for a drink. Our cousin Ryan joined us after work and then Alexz and I continued on to Bar None. My friend Rebecca was playing with her band Soul Stream. They are a soul/funk/r&b band and they play every Monday and Tuesday night. Awesome music & super talented band...too bad the crowd is so sketchy.

So I had my first interview with MAC cosmetics the other day. It was a group interview with about 12 girls. Yes, girls...most of them were pretty young. Felt I did really well and I'm now awaiting a phone call to move on to the 2nd interview. If I ace that one I have one more to go before I'm hired. I had such an awesome time working at Fashion Cares in Toronto. I love that MAC is so involved with fundraising for AID and HIV. Always amazing when you can give back and help when/where it's needed.

Still working at Absolute Spa as a makeup artist on the weekends. Enjoying getting to know all the women there. Really nice place to work.

Haven't had many auditions but am hopefull it will pick up for me. We will soon find out. Can't wait to go back to Toronto end of March and see all my friends...should be an emotional but fun time.

Until next time...
