What's your secret?
I think everyone has one, huge, gut wrenching secret. One secret that is buried so deep inside that it's been forgotten. Well, until it's triggered. Anything can trigger it. A song, a movie, the smell of something that takes you right back to the memory of that secret. We try so hard to bury it deep inside us but it will never let go, it will never disappear. It will always be there.
What if you were bold enough to deal with that secret. Dig it out from the bottom of your stomach where it lays underneath layers of regret, guilt, shame, discomfort and all the other feelings you cover it over with. What would it feel like? Who would it effect? Would it actually do damage to yourself of perhaps someone else? Is it really that big of a deal? What if you uncovered it and nothing happened? What if you released it? What if I told you that releasing "IT" would in turn make you feel better? You don't believe me, do you.
I challenge you to take your shovel, dig out the layers of crap and expose it to the sun. I think you'll be surprised what happens.
