new pussycat dolls

So, I just watched the new Pussycat Dolls video...apparently the "old" pussycat dolls are no longer and now they have 4 new young ladies to exploit. All I can say is WOW. The video is brutal. If I had a young teenager or "tween" I would NOT want her watching it. At the beginning of the video they are wearing a super short plaid mini-mini skirt and tiny white shirt and tie but by the end they are having a pillow fight in the white bra and underwear jumping on the bed. Ok, so yeah, I'm sure any guys reading this right now are going to check it out just to drool but honestly, it's disgusting. It's so uncalled for! That's my 2 cents, just wanted to share.

A friend of mine had someone close to him pass away recently. It was really tragic not only because of how old his friend was (24yrs old) but also because he was fighting for our country...well, peace keeping. Crazy. Either way it's sad and disturbing. It does however make me so thankful to live in this beautiful country, thankful for my family and friends, and for my health. I'm so thankful to be alive, happy and healthy.

New Movie - Young At Heart

So, I went to the screening of "Young At Heart" last week and it was amazing! It's a Documentary about a vocal ensemble where the average age is 80yrs old! Their rep consists of anything from James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Coldplay, and the Beatles, just to name a few! This movie will make you laugh and cry.. a movie for all to see.

good news!

First of all I can't believe it's been so long since I've wrote on my blog. wow. I've been busy I guess. I moved into my very own apartment in the West End March 1st and I'm loving it!

Ok, onto the good news! So I auditioned last week for a short film. They held 2 days of auditions looking to fill one female role. Recently I heard that I was going to have a callback but then I got a phone call tonight. I thought it was to let me know when the callback would be. Not so...he told me that they wanted to offer me the part without a callback! Yipee! I'm so excited! So now I have to wait till July (I think) before we shoot it but never-the-less...I'm so thrilled!

As for Vancouver...well, I'm hoping April showers (and we've had a lot this first week of April) turn into May flowers!

I did another photo shoot with the fantastic Juan Lopez recently and I'm just waiting to get the shots back. I can't wait! Our model was awesome!
