New Beginings
Noah and I - Opening Night - Catch A Rising Star
MY GOODBYE PARTY
Charles, Rhonda and I
Kylee, me and Sandy
Shelly, me and Ty
Right now I'm sitting in the Edmonton Airport waiting for my flight to Vancouver. It's been delayed so I thought it would be a perfect time to sit and remember the last 3 weeks.
I've been in Toronto for the last 3 weeks. The first week was spent packing and doing my taxes...not much fun but it had to be done. Ha! That rhymes. The last 2 weeks I was doing the makeup design for a show called Catch A Rising Star out in Oakville at Sheridan College. I got to work with all the musical theatre students as well as team up with the makeup department. Not to mention working with my good friend Noah again. So great to see him and spend some time together creating, supporting and encouraging...oh yeah there was some celebrating in there too! Tee Hee.
Anyway...I am feeling a bit emotional today. Feels like it is the first day of my new life. Saying goodbye to Toronto and everyone there is hard. I feel so at home in Toronto. Not very common for a west coast girl, I know. I've had so many ups and downs there. Made so many amazing friends, and grown so much emotionally.
I'm looking forward to my future and where I will end up. I have some pretty big dreams but I know they will come true. My first big dream came true when I got into Mamma Mia so I had to dream bigger after that. On wards and up wards.
Until next time...
