Well I got a call last night telling me that I didn't get it. They were very nice and said my references all said great things. They wished me well and thanked me for my application. Oh well...now I'll have to wait until the fall to see who they picked. This just means I'll have to "make it big" on my own. Something I can do, I know. Funny thing is thanks to this show, (and the 1st night of the amazing show "So you think you can dance")...I'm ready and inspired to kick butt and audition again.

Making it Big

Well I wasn't sure if I should share in this little bit of exciting news but I can't hold it in anymore. About a month ago I got an email from my agent telling me about this really cool reality show called "Making it Big". They choose 3 people from across North America to fly to Vancouver and shoot 3 days worth of a challenge/competition reality show. There are 8 various catagories but the one I applied for is Triple Threat (singer, dancer, actor). In the on-line application I had to answer all kinds of questions about my personal and professional life as well as provide references. They followed up with a phone interview to get to know me a bit better. On Friday I received an email telling me I was on the "very short, shortlist". I really don't know how many people are on the shortlist but I feel really thankful to have just been considered at this point. I also had to sign and fax back a release form. I would hope that they let everyone know by the end of the week. I really hope so cause everyday that passes is full of anticipation. If I got it they would fly me to Vancouver on the 1st of June and we would shoot June 2,3 & 4th. On the 5th they would fly me back to Toronto. If I win...I really don't know exactly what I would get. I know it would be an amazing opportunity to spend the day with someone in the biz. Who knows where this could lead. Like I wrote before I'm just so thankful for even being considered. Of course I'll update my blog if I get it. What ever is ment to be will be, it's not in my hands anymore. I have done all I can, the rest is up to God. :)
