First day of Spring?

So apparently today was the first day of Spring. Felt like a freezing cold day in December if ya asked me. Wow! I'm really looking forward to it warming up a bit.

Well Baxter is keeping us busy these days. Still testing us but doing much better after completing his 6 week class at obedience school. Matt took him every Tuesday night for 6 weeks...minus my birthday night (tues. Feb.28th). He learned how to sit and stay, laydown and stay, heal, oh and the really good one...OFF. Still have to practice every day and even though he has his bad days we have to remind each other that he's still just a puppy.

It's Matt's birthday on Wednesday March 22nd so we'll going out for Sushi at our favorite Japanese place...Blue Zen (just north of Yonge and Eglinton). Can't wait! Saturday we're having a party for Matt at our loft. Should be an awesome night.

My Birthday

Well it was my birthday yesterday and I'm officially 29 and holding. Feels kinda weird to say that I'm 29. Why is it scary to turn 30? It's not like I feel that my life has been a waste. It's been so amazing and will only get better. I dunno...maybe it's because I had this idea that by the time I was 30 I would have a child or be pregnant or at least trying to get pregnant. I'm so not ready yet. We are really enjoying our time in Toronto with my career and now our new puppy. It's all good. As long as you are happy right? Right.

Matt bought me an IPOD Nanno for my birthday and I'm so excited. I've been wanting an IPOD for a long time now. I love it!

Yesterday I went shopping with my next door neighbour Lisa while Matt was at work. I got a new pair of jeans, top and boots. Now I feel like I'm in Style again. I find it hard to spend money on clothes...I just don't normally have the extra cash to spend. It felt great and I'm so happy. Last night we went out for dinner at Habitat Lounge with our neighbours/friends. The food melted in your mouth and the wine was so smooth. Later on a bunch of friends dropped by for a drink and my manager bought us Champagne! What a nice treat. After everyone started to take off we carried on to Century Room for a couple drinks and a little dancing. What an awesome day/night. Surrounded by close friends, great food and amazing wine.

Wanted to show off the latest pic of Baxter and Ekiva. He'll be 5 months old on Friday March 3rd! Growing up so fast!
