going home soon

I just saw Charlie and The Chocolate Factory tonight. Wow! I have never been a huge fan of Johnny Depp but wow...he was fantastic. You have to go see it!

Another hot day in T.O. and our place is a sauna. Can't wait to get out of the city for a bit. I'm leaving on Thursday July 28th to go back home to Victoria for 10 days. Can't wait to take in that fresh B.C. air! Yipee!

Make sure to watch Canadian Idol this week and vote for my friend Aaron Walpole. My friend Kara and I went to the results show last Wednesday and are hoping to get into the show tomorrow night (Tuesday July 26th). We'll see. We were working on some signs and our outfits tonight. What a site we were... cutting and pasting! LOL. It's all in good fun to support our friend Aaron. Make sure to vote!

crazy business

So on Sunday July 17th I did a commercial for Alliance Atlantis (Showcase channel). I was there for about 13 hours. Thank goodness everyone was so easy going and super talented. Watch for me, I'll be the one treading water in a pool while some guy drops his shorts on the diving board and I'm also in the track and field scene with 3 other ladies. Who knows when the commercials will air but if you see it let me know!

This morning I was an assistant make-up artist for Alliance Atlantis doing a commercial for the Food Network. FUN! I did mostly hair for all the extras (around 20 of them) and make-up too. Funny cause most of the crew was from Sunday's shoot and a few of them remembered me. "Weren't you talent in the commerical we shot on Sunday?"...It's really great to see both sides to this crazy biz I'm in. Very interesting to say the least.

My good friend Kevin Yee (who I was in Mamma Mia with) is performing tonight at The Cameron House @ 9pm. Going to go help him out tonight. Check out his website www.kevinyee.com
